Most people ignore liver health unless they have been diagnosed with liver diseases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, etc. It is important to take care of liver as it plays crucial role is regulating many of the body’s functions.
In order to ensure liver health, there are certain foods that one should avoid.
Eating food that are high in saturated fats can interrupt liver’s function. This can result in the development of fatty liver, leading to inflammation, causing a problem called cirrhosis.
Avoid sugar as your liver is responsible to convert sugar into fat and when you consume more sugar, it starts making more fat, which may lead to fatty liver disease.
Consuming too much alcohol causes liver damage, leading to cirrhosis.
Avoid packaged good as they contain a lot of sugar, salt and fat which is harmful to liver.
Whole milk contains saturated fat which makes it not ideal for people concerned about liver health.
