California soon to declare ‘stealthing’ as ‘sexual battery’

Stealthing – the act of secretly removing a condom during a sexual act – will soon become illegal in the Golden State.
The Bill AB 453 would make the act a ‘sexual battery’ allowing victims to sue the perpetrators for damages.
The bill will amend the definition of sexual battery to add “… contact between a penis, from which a condom has been removed, and the intimate part of another who did not verbally consent to the condom being removed.”
The bill is the work of Democratic member of the State’s Assembly Cristina Garcia who said that she has been working on the issue since 2017. Adding that there should be accountability for those committing such a disgusting act.
