Borgalgudde Manjunath Kamath elected president of Karnataka Yuva Sahitya Sammelana

Ajekaru: Borgalgudde Manjunath Kamath has been elected as the president of Karnataka Yuva Sahitya Sammelana (Karnataka Youth Literary Conference) which will be held on February 28.

Kamath is the head of the journalism department at MGM College and is a fellow of the Konkani Academy.

His literary works include “Pandita,” “Dari Tappisuva Devaru,” “Nanu Sanyasiaalu Horatidde,” “Chandada Hallina Hudugi” and “18 Avalugala Kathe.”

The conference will host a poetry meet, song performance, Bharatanatyam and Rupa Vasundhara Acharya’s ‘Pushpanjali’ art show.

An award distribution ceremony will also be held at the conference.
