Rains, strong winds lash across Udupi

Udupi: Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds lashed across Udupi district on Sunday, February 21 resulting in flooding at many places.

It may be recalled that last week the meteorological department had forecast showers in the coastal region.

Today being a Sunday many wedding and other functions are taking place and unseasonal showers have caused inconvenience to the event attendees.
