Bengaluru: MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal has warned Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa that he will have to lose his chair if he continues his drama on giving Category 2A reservation to the Panchamasali community.

Speaking to reporters after the meet organised by the community here, Yatnal added that he will not stop speaking even after being given notice.

“You be in the government for the sake of your children and grandchildren, we have come for the sake of the children of our community. Veerendra Patil did not bring his children into politics,” he said.

We will continue our struggle till the end of the session. I will raise the reservation issue in the assembly. The chief minister must give a concrete reply. If he begins his drama again, ministers from our community will resign. 2A reservation must be confirmed before the closing of this session,” Yatnal warned.

“We have made enough appeal. This time we will go only after we get the reservation,” he said.
