1 dead, 1 hurt after speeding lorry rams into bike at Shiroor

Shiroor: In a tragic road accident a youth was killed on the spot after a speeding lorry collided into his bike at Shiroor on October 25, Wednesday. Another youth riding pillion is said to have sustained critical injuries in the mishap.

The deceased Subhash was employed in Bengaluru and had come down to his native place to attend a function.

The accident took place when Subhash was on his way home, after having tea at a local tea stall. 

Notably, this is the second accident to have taken place at the same spot within a span of a few days. People have blamed the poor road conditions in the area for the accidents. 

Meanwhile, the Byndoor police who are investigating the case have arrested the lorry driver.
