1 from Mangaluru, 6 from Udupi test positive for COVID-19

Mangaluru: One person from Dakshina Kannada and six people from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, May 20.

As per sources the 40-year-old woman who tested positive in Dakshina Kannada today had returned from Bengaluru to Neermarga on May 10 with her son. Despite being quarantined she had visited many places in the city including her relative’s house in Kudupu.

The woman was admitted to Wenlock hospital on May 17 after she complained of SARI.

As may as 63 people including one from DK and six from Udupi were tested positive today, taking the state toll to 1458.
