10-mth-old from DK tests COVID-19 +ve; total 62 cases in state

Mangaluru: As per the latest updates on Coronavirus in the state, seven more persons including a 10-month-old infant from Dakshina Kannada have tested positive for COVID-19 since March 26 evening (5 pm) to March 27 morning ( 8 am).
As per the update, so far 62 cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the state, including the three deaths and five discharged patients.
The infant who tested positive for coronavirus has no travel history to any foreign country. His parents had travelled to Kerala recently. Six primary contacts of the infant are placed in home quarantine.
The other patients include:
A 20-year-old Bengaluru resident who arrived from Colombo, Sri Lanka on March 15.
A 25-year-old woman who arrived from London on March 18.
A 35-year-old and a 33-year-old women, who were employed as housemaid at residence of a coronavirus infected person have tested positive.
All the four are being treated in a isolated facility at Bengaluru.
The fifth case, a 65-year-old man from Tumkuru who tested positive for coronavirus passed away today morning at the Tumkuru district hospital.
The sixth case is that of a Uttara Karnataka youth, aged 22, who reently travelled to Dubai.
