12-day IndusInd Bank National Coaching Camp in Bhopal to select CABI’s 17 Blind Cricketers for the 3rd T20 World Cup

Bengaluru: The Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) and Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled are pleased to announce that 29 players will undergo 12 days IndusInd Bank National Coaching Camp at Faith Cricket Club Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh during September- October 2022.

The selection committee of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India will shortlist the best 17-member squad to represent India at the 3rd T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind, to be played from December 5th 2022. 9 countries will take part in the 3rd T20 World Cup, with 39 matches, to be played across multi cities of India to promote Cricket for the Blind.

Bank for organizing the coaching camp and supporting the game of cricket for the visually impaired. Coaching camps help the blind cricketers to showcase their talents, improve their techniques and mindset and helps them to prepare for the upcoming World Cup”

The T-20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind will be held across multiple cities in India and include teams from India, Australia, New Zealand, West Indies, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The 29 cricketers attending the Coaching camp are:
