Bengaluru: The Education Department published a new provisional list for the recruitment of graduate teachers (Class 6 to 8) on Monday. As many as 13,351 candidates have been selected in a ratio of 1:1.
As many as 1.06 lakh candidates applied and 68,849 appeared for the exam. Out of these had 53,664 qualified. 22,432 were selected for the 1:2 screening list. Now 13,351 candidates have been placed in the provisional final list.
The provisional list has shortlisted 4,194 candidates to fill posts vacant in the Kalyana Karnataka region. As many as 9,157 candidates shortlisted for vacancies in the rest of the state.
