1370 mucormycosis cases identified in K’taka so far, 51 deaths

Bengaluru: The department of health and family welfare on Tuesday claimed that 1370 mucormycosis cases have been identified in people across the state so far, of which 51 patients have succumbed to the infection.
As per the official data, there are a total of 557 cases in Bengaluru Urban and Dharwad has reported most deaths (14).
Currently, 1292 patients are under treatment in various hospitals across the state and 27 patients have recovered so far.
