Mangaluru: With as many as five coronavirus-related deaths reported in Dakshina Kannada district, former Congress minister UT Khader on Saturday, May 16 alleged that the district administration had failed in controlling spread of coronavirus.
Citing a study, Khader said that 150 persons are likely to get infected with the death of one Covid-19 infected person and questioned if the lives of people holds any value for district administration.
Patients have died with three days of testing positive for coronavirus. The district administration must not take things lightly. It must investigate the cause for the deaths as well as origin of the disease in the district, he added.
Further he said that the district administration had failed in controlling spread of coronavirus
