Kalburgi: In a shocking incident, of 19-year old was raped and murdered by her neighbor from Kosam village of Bidar district.
It has been learnt that Shamsuddin lured Puja, a second-year BA student to a forest in Kosam village, sexually assaulted and murdered her by slitting her throat.
After committing the crime, Shamsuddin informed Puja’s family about the crime and later went to a police station and confessed his crime.
Police have arrested Shamsuddin and recovered Puja’s body from the spot.
