195 from Bidar stranded in Kuwait; NRI group assures help

Bengaluru: 195 people from Bidar district who are stranded in Kuwait since many days have been assured help from a Karnataka-based NRI group.

The stranded natives wrote to Ishwar Khandre, Working President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee for repatriation. After which Khandre contacted the former chief of the group called ‘NRIs From Karnataka,’ Dr Aarti Krishna.

Krishna contacted an associate in Kuwait Manjeshwar Mohan Das Kamath who visited the stranded Kannadigas and collected information from them.

Kamath also helped many of the stranded to have phone conversations with Dr Aarti Krishna, who assured them of help.
