1st chartered flight takes off from Kuwait to Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The first chartered flight from Kuwait to Mangaluru International Airport took off on Wednesday, June 17 with 160 passengers on board.
The flight is scheduled to land at Mangaluru airport at 5 pm.
The flight will also carry the mortal remains of Sathish Kochu Shetty (45), who died in a fire tragedy at a refinery in Kuwait on June 14.
All Kannada and Tulu associations in Kuwait came together and hired the to send back those who were stranded there.
Hotel bookings for a period of seven days for all the passengers have aslo been arranged, informed sources.
