2 held with 17 kgs of poppy straw in Jammu

Jammu :  Police have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 17 kgs of poppy straw from them in Jammu city. The two were apprehended with their bags when they were travelling from Gangyal to Satwari in the city last evening, a police officer said today.

During their personnel search, 17 kg poppy was police recovered from their possession, he said, adding a case has been registered and further investigation is going on.
