Jammu:  Fire today broke out in a house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, critically injuring two minor brothers, police said.

The fire started in the house of one Yashpaul Singh in Serbad village of Katra tehsil around 9.30 am, a police officer said. Fire tenders have been pressed into service to douse the flames, he said.

Singh’s sons – Aditya (3) and one-year-old Aryan – received burn injuries, the officer said, adding they were admitted to a hospital. The two boys, who were critically injured, were later shifted to the GMC hospital here for specialised treatment, he said.

The reason behind fire is being investigated, the police officer said.
