2 women held for drug peddling in UP

Bahraich: Two women have been arrested for drug peddling and narcotic substance was recovered from their possession here, police said today.
Superintendent of Police Sabharaj Singh said acting on a tip-off, a police team arrested the women, identified as Shahnaz and Rubia, from the Nanpara police station area yesterday.
“The arrested women are both residents of Nanpara. 150 gram smack and Rs 4,890 in cash have been recovered from them,” the SP said.
A case has been registered against the women under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
