Vijayapura: Karnataka BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel on Wednesday claimed that 10 MLAs from the Congress are eager to join the ruling party.
Speaking to reporters here he said that many in the Congress and JD(S) are feeling stifled and are pleading to be taken in the BJP.
He further said that the selection of candidates for the bye-elections to the one Assembly constituency and three Legislative Council seats will be done by the central leadership of the party.
He refused to comment on the issue of MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal speaking against the chief minister only stating that the party’s disciplinary committee has sent a notice to him and that appropriate person will report on the issue at the appropriate time.
