Coastalwood: Last year, a record 15 movies were released in Coastalwood. What is worth noticing is that, last year during the month of January, not a single Tulu movie was released. But in the remaining 11 months, 15 movies got released.

Last week, as per the observation of ‘Kudla Talkies’, at least 33 movies may get screened or be shot or may be planned. There is no answer to when they may be released. But this year, according to a source, preparations are being made for the release of 20 movies this year. It is not possible to say for sure if all the 20 movies will see release. But it is true that preparations are being done to make this happen.

Presently movies titles Bhoomika, Diabieties, Katapady Kattappe, Rahukala Gulikala, Golmal, Kambalabettu Bhaterna Magal, Karnikada Kallurti and other few cinemas had completed all preparations are on the verge of release. Meanwhile other movies titled Illokkel, Pundi Panavu, Gant Kaluver, Belchappe, Yereg Avu Kiri Kiri, Pravesha, Radd Ekre, Balipe, Nambugeda Koragajje, Kudkana Madime, Tambila, Jai Maruti Yuvaka Mandali, Last Bench and other movies are eager to complete the final phases of preparation. There lies the indication that at least 20 movies will be ready this year. Besides there are other movies also and the chances of them seeing release this year cannot be denied.

Anyhow, in comparison to the number of movies released last year, there is a possibility that more movies may get released this year.
