20 passengers injured after Volvo bus topples

Belagavi: As many as 20 persons sustained serious injuries after a private Volvo bus in which they were travelling toppled at Dastikoppa in Kittur taluk on Saturday, December 22.
The Rajasthan bound bus met with the accident after its driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a road bend at Dastikoppaon national highway 4. Nearly five ambulances rushed to the accident spot and rushed the 20 injured persons to nearby hospitals. The conditions of the passengers is said to be stable.
It is gathered that there were 34 passengers on board the bus.
Police visited the spot and carried out the investigation.
