200 sheep killed by lightning strike

Soraba: In a tragic incident more than 200 sheep died after being struck by a lightning at Guddekoppa village in the taluk on Sunday, November 18.
Shepherds from Chikkodi taluk were in the village with their herds of sheep for grazing. The lightning struck herds of sheep when they were on Guddekoppa main road. More than 200 sheep died at the spot due to lightning, informed sources
On receiving the information veterinary department officials and police rushed to the spot.
