24/7 CT Scan Facility Inaugurated at Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karkala

Karkala/Manipal: In a significant step towards advancing healthcare services, Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital in Karkala has inaugurated a 24/7 CT scan facility, enhancing the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities for better patient care. This state-of-the-art facility features a 16-slice CT scanner, offering high-resolution imaging and rapid reporting to enable quicker diagnoses and improved treatment.

Shri Dilip Jose, Managing Director and CEO of Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., officially inaugurated the CT scan facility, which will be available around the clock to meet the community’s diagnostic needs. Smt. Vasanthi R. Pai, MAHE Trustee was also present at the event to mark the occasion.

On this occasion, Dr. H.S. Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of MAHE, stated, “The launch of this 24/7 CT scan facility at Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital is a pivotal step forward in our commitment to providing top-notch healthcare to the community. This advanced diagnostic service will enable more accurate and timely diagnosis, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. On this occasion, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M.D. Venkatesh VSM (Retd), Vice Chancellor of MAHE, remarked, “This advanced diagnostic technology will enhance our ability to provide accurate, timely care, and reflects our ongoing mission to make high-quality medical services accessible to all.”

Dr. Sandeep Ballal, Chief Radiologist and Regional Head of Manipal HealthMap Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. who provided an overview of the advanced CT scan capabilities introduced at the hospital, Dr. Sharath Kumar Rao, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Health Sciences), Dr. Raviraj N.S., COO of MAHE, Dr. Padmaraj Hegde, Dean of Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Manipal, Dr. Anand Venugopal, COO of MAHE’s Teaching Hospitals, Rotary Club of Karkala Rock City President Rtn. Upendra Wagle, Rotary Club of Karkala President Rtn. Iqbal Ahmed and other Senior Rotary members were present.

Dr. Kirthinath Ballal, Chief Medical Officer of Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, emphasized the impact of this new facility, stating, “The 24/7 CT scan facility represents a major advancement in our diagnostic capabilities, ensuring that high-quality healthcare is now more accessible than ever.”
