24 new cases confirmed; K’taka Covid 19 tally rises to 1056, one more death recorded

Bengaluru: Twenty four new cases of coronavirus too the tally of infected persons to 1056 in Karnataka on Friday, May 15.

A total of 69 cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, the health department said in its evening update.

Of the new cases, 13 are from Mandya, four each from Hassan and Bidar while Kalaburagi accounted for 13. Meanwhile, a 52-year-old man from Bidar with SARI symptoms died.

Till date 1056 cases have been confirmed. This included 480 discharges and 36 deaths
