25  injured after bus collides with truck

Karwar: Over 25 passengers travelling in a KSRTC  bus were injured after the bus collided with the truck on Tuesday, January 1 on National Highway (NH) 66 near Manaki.

It is gathered that the KSRTC bus was carrying its operation from Sagar towards Gokarna when it collided with a truck going from Hubballi towards Mangaluru. The driver of the truck suffered a broken leg.

The injured have been rushed to the Kumta Government Hospital and are undergoing treatment there, informed sources

A case with this regard has been filed with the Kumta Police.
