3 dead, 23 injured in tempo-truck collision

Nashik: Three persons were killed and 23 others injured when a tempo carrying a marriage party collided against a truck on Sinnar-Sangamner Road, police said today. The accident took place around 8.30 pm yesterday at Manegaon phata, around 35 kms from Nashik, police said.

“The mishap occurred when the marriage party was returning to Dapur village after attending a wedding ceremony in Sinnar,” inspector of Sinnar police station, Mukund Deshmukh, said.

The injured have been admitted to a local hospital, police said. Further investigation is on.
