3 Hungry Men fame Nikhil Pai commits suicide

Mangaluru: Nikhil Pai (28) of The 3 Hungry Men fame committed suicide on the night of Saturday April 13th. Nikhil ended his life by consuming rat poison, inform police sources. The reason for the extreme step remains unknown.

On Saturday, Nikhil had a quarrel with his mother and left home. However, when he failed to return, a missing complaint was filed by his family on Sunday. After some search his corpse was found at his apartment in Palemar, inform sources.

Nikhil was the co-founder of The 3 Hungry Men along with his friend Colin. The food reviewing venture gained much appreciation in Mangaluru. The 3 Hungry Men even appeared on national television programmes. The group was known for hosting food eating competitions

Following Nikhil’s father’s death, he had taken up the management of Deepak Sales and Services fuel pump at Baikampady.

Nikhil is survived by his mother and younger sister. A case has been registered with Kavoor police.
