3 of family injured as house collapses after rains

Muzaffarnagar: Three members of a family at Kawal village in the district were injured after their house collapsed following heavy rains in the district, police said Thursday.

Tehsildar PN Choudhry said the injured have been identified as Sattar, his sister Jamila and his nephew Sana. He said the family was inside the house when it came down crashing after heavy rains Wednesday.

He said that a revenue official has been sent to the village to assess the situation.
