4 arrested for raping 17-year-old girl

Sullia: The Subrahmanya police officers arrested four persons in connection with the rape of a 17-year-old girl.

The are Sanketh, Venkatesh, Deekesh and Ashok. The other two accused Durgaprasad and Chandrashekhar have gone into hiding.

As per sources, the victim became pregnant after she consumed some tablets provided by these men for the purpose of aborting her pregnancy.

After consuming the tablets the girl suffered from excessive bleeding thereafter, her family members came to know about it, and they had filed a complaint in the police station.
