Chitradurga: Four persons died and three others are critical after consuming Poisonous food on Thursday, December 20 late night at Hulithotlu Village of Hiriyur Taluk.
The deceased are identified as Chittappa, Shashidhar, Bhagyamma and Shashidhar. Whereas Muthuraj, Sadananda and Ajay have been admitted to a private hospital in Davanagere and are undergoing treatment, informed sources.
It is gathered the seven-member who belonged to the same family fell sick after eating Ragi Mudde, though they were rushed to the hospital four died on the way and three others are critical.
A case has registered with the Aimagala Police.
