40-year-old rickshaw driver killed in road mishap

Kasaragod: In a tragic accident, a 40-year-old auto driver was killed after a speeding Innova car rammed into his autorickshaw on Kallangai National Highway of Mogral Puthur here on Tuesday, April 20.
The deceased has been identified as Janardhana Gatti, a resident of Hosmane.
The incident took place while Janardhana was heading towards Kumble and the Innova car which came from behind, rammed the auto.
Gatti sustained severe injuries in the accident and was rushed to a hospital in Kasargod by locals who gathered at the spot, however, he died on the way to the hospital.
