47 teachers from Karnataka selected for national awards

Bengaluru: 47 teachers from the State have been selected by the Ministry of Education for its national awards.

The selected winners include Yakub, a teacher at Nadda Government High School in Belthangady taluk, and Surekha Jaganath, a teacher at Government High School at Afsalpur, Kalaburagi.

The winners’ list has been finalized by an independent panel of judges appointed by the Ministry. The panel reviewed 153 teachers from 36 states and union territories and shortlisted 47 for the awards.
