48-day Mandalotsava begins at Ayodhya Ram Mandir under leadership of Pejavara Sri

Ayodhya/Udupi: A day after the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in the new grand temple at Ayodhya, the 48-day Mandalotsava began on Tuesday under the guidance of Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Sripada, the pontiff of Udupi’s Sri Pejavara Matha.
On Tuesday, Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Sripada conducted various rituals as part of the Mandalotsava. The rituals also included Kalashapuja, Chamaraseva Mangalarathi, and a special puja to the revered Ram Lalla idol.
Before this, under the leadership of Purnaprajna Vidyapeeth Pracharya Vidwan Satyanarayanacharya, Vishnumurthy Acharya, Shashankh Bhat, Lakshminarayana Bhat, and others, a series of rituals were performed, adding to the sanctity of the event.
A considerable number of devotees flocked to witness the historic event in Ayodhya. To manage the large gathering, an extensive deployment of security personnel has been stationed. Reports suggest that over 3 lakh people visited the Ram Mandir from morning to evening on Tuesday.
In a proactive measure, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial survey of hte arrangements made. He instructed officials and the police to ensure a hassle-free experience for devotees visiting Ayodhya.
