5 Effective home remedies for Asthma

Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition. It inflames or blocks the airways of the lungs and thus causes difficulty in breathing.
Here are some natural remedies for asthma that can provide some relief
Eucalyptus oil
Drip a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil in a bowl of boiling water and take its steam. It helps in opening up any nasal blockages to facilitate easy breathing.
Ginger
Prepare a potion with equal quantities of ginger, honey and pomegranate, consume it 2-3 times a day. Ginger’s components have anti-inflammatory properties which make it as effective at reducing inflammation as Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs. It clears excess mucus and swelling from the passageways leading to the lungs and also relaxes them.
Mustard oil
Mustard oil mixed with camphor is a potent combination for asthma treatment. Massage the mixture all over the chest, to get relief from the asthma. Heating the oil with a little camphor also makes for an extremely safe as well as soothing home treatment for asthma and asthma attacks
Coffee
Caffeine in coffee helps in asthma treatment. It works by opening up narrow and constricted airways as it contains caffeine which is a drug similar to theophylline which is a bronchodilator that helps with asthma.
Honey
Honey is one of the oldest natural remedy available for asthma and tons of other breathing or respiratory problems, it clears phlegm from throat and passageways to facilitate breathing. Drink honey by mixing with water or swallow it raw.
