5 home remedies to get rid of puffy eyes or eye bags

People often complain of puffy eyes due to Allergies, stress and a lack of sleep, as they cause fluid to pool in the under-eye area. Eyes require sufficient rest from all the stress they endure during the hours you are awake. You should sleep for 7-8 hours every night which will avoid  puffiness. Many try to cover up puffy eyes by using a concealer or sunglasses.

Here are a few effective home remedies to get rid of puffy eyes

1.Chill two spoon in a refrigerator for a few minutes, then lie down and place the back of each spoon over a closed eye for 10 minutes which will reduce the swelling

2.Egg whites work as a natural astringent to temporarily tighten swollen skin. Whisk two whites until smooth and gently apply them to your under-eye area. Rinse after 10 minutes

3.Slice a raw potato into two and circle the closed eyes gently with those halves. Remove after 20 minutes.

4.Dip cotton pads in chilled milk and place on your eyelids and relax for 20-30 minutes. It will help eyes in water retention.

5.Take 2 slices of fresh refrigerated cucumber and place it on your eyes for 25 minutes. The anti-inflammatory properties will naturally help reduce puffy tissues.
