5 Ways to boost your Self-confidence

Team Udayavani, Jun 16, 2020, 6:01 PM IST

Nobody is born with self-confidence, it takes years to build because various situations in life can deflate it. When you feel confident in yourself, you’re able to devote your resources to the task at hand.

Here are 5 ways to build self confidence

1.Make an effort to be kind to yourself and try to challenge any negative thoughts

2.Researchers found that people who compared themselves to others, experienced envy and the more envy they experienced, the worse they felt about themselves.

3.Always project your voice, be  loud. The way you talk and the way you project your voice is directly linked to your confidence.

4.Take care of yourself. Eating an unhealthy diet, not sleeping well and refraining from exercise will take a toll on your well-being.

5.Appreciate your success. If you don’t notice successes in your life, your self-confidence is likely to be low.
