5 workers injured in fire at factory in Telangana

Sangareddy (Tel) :  Five workers were injured in fire at an oil producing factory in the district, a police official said. The blaze erupted at the factory in Pashamylaram Industrial Development Area last evening after an explosion in the unit, he said.

Fire tenders were rushed to the site and the flames were doused, he said. The five injured workers, all natives of Chhattisgarh and aged between 19 and 23, were admitted to a hospital. Of them, three were reported to be in a serious condition, the official said.

At the factory, oil was produced from old tyres and plastic which was used for industrial purposes.
