54,342 out of 1,16,223 candidates clear GPTR 2022 Exam

Bengaluru: The results of the Graduate Primary Teacher Recruitment (GPTR) 2022 Exam conducted by the State Department of School Education and Literacy in the month of May are out.

Around 54,342 candidates have cleared the exam.

For 15,000 teaching job posts from classes 6 to 8 at the government primary schools, 1,16,223 candidates had registered. Out of this, 74,923 had appeared for the exam.

However, the results of 61 candidates have been withheld and two have been disqualified.

Commissioner of the Department of School Education and Literacy Dr. R Vishal said that the recruitment process will be conducted in another two to three days.

Meanwhile, the department has given a time frame from August 18 to 24 to make necessary corrections in their application submitted with regards to personal details and educational qualifications.
