Bengaluru: According to Karnataka State Legal Services Authority’s (KSLSA) report, 5,435 issues related to potholes, pedestrian footpaths and bad roads have been revealed in Bengaluru.
The report came after Karnataka High Court in February 2020 directed KSLSA to conduct a survey, while hearing a PIL filed by Vijayan Menon and others, seeking HC’s intervention to improve the condition of Bengaluru roads.
The results contradicted Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s (BBMP) claim, in February, that there were no potholes on 74 roads in the city.
