68-year-old man killed in hit-and-run case

Bengaluru: A 68-year-old man was killed after he was struck down by a speeding car on Doddaballapura main road on Tuesday, January 2 evening.
The deceased, Shivamadayya hails from Kanakpura taluk and had come to the city to visit his daughter.
As per reports, Shivamadayya was crossing the road near CRPF Gate when the car hit him at around 6 pm. The errant driver did not stop the car and sped away.
Yelahanka traffic police registered a case and are examining footages of the accident from the CCTV cameras installed near the spot.
