75-year-old Amritsar vendor sells samosas for ₹ 2.50

It’s not every day that news breaks about true generosity, enthusiasm, and determination. While large company drums up support for its CSR expenditures and wishes to be perceived as giving back to the community, small businesses’ cries often go unheard.
Food stalls or vendors, on the other hand, achieve wide appeal through social media once in a blue moon. These are usually owned by the elderly and receive social media attention from food bloggers, occasionally through pity marketing but mostly out of good intentions.
Sarabjeet Singh, a culinary blogger from Amritsar, recently featured a samosa vendor on his Instagram account. In his modest setup in the reel, the 75-year-old vendor sporting a yellow turban is seen frying samosas. The septuagenarian is said to sell these samosas for Rs 2.50 each.
From the footage, his business appears to be a one-man shop on the street. As the film goes, different steps of samosa cooking are emphasised.
