New Delhi : A total of 859 complaints were received against the officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) working across the country, Union minister Jitendra Singh said today. The complaints were received during the year from January 1, 2016 upto June 30, 2017, he said in a written reply in response to a question in Lok Sabha.
Of the total complaints, 93 pertain to IAS officers working with the government of Uttar Pradesh, said Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. “Appropriate action can be taken against officials only after the cases reach finality,” he said.
