A lake in Brazil offers swimming in Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola Lagoon in Rio Grande del Norte, Brazil is called so because its color starkly resembles the color of the popular soft drink.

Its original name is Lagoa da Araraquara lake

According to experts, the color is a result of the concentration of iodine and iron in combination with the pigmentation of the reeds near the shore.

Coca-Cola lagoon has emerged as one of the most unusual tourist attractions in Brazil.

During summers,  the water of the Coca-Cola lagoon becomes very warm making it a perfect spot for a family bathing session or a boat ride.

People also come here to get relief from the scorching heat.
