Aadhaar Bill tabled in Assembly

Bengaluru: The state government introduced the Karnataka Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Bill, 2018 on Tuesday .
The Bill will help in delivering benefits and subsidies through Aadhaar identification and proposes to implement Direct Benefit Transfer system for delivering subsidies, benefits, services, grants and wages using Aadhaar number as identification of the beneficiaries.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah tabled the Bill in the Assembly.
