Bengaluru: A court here issued an arrest warrant against Bhavani Revanna after evading several summons.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) is on the lookout for Bhavani Revanna, the wife of former minister and MLA H.D. Revanna, who is facing several allegations including sexual assault and abduction.
The SIT had twice served notices to Bhavani, requesting her appearance for interrogation, but she failed to comply. Her bail plea, submitted to the special court for elected representatives, was also rejected. Following this, the 42nd ACMM court issued an arrest warrant against her.
An SIT team is conducting searches in various locations.
Bhavani Ignores Notices
Despite being served notices twice by the SIT, Bhavani Revanna has not appeared for interrogation. She responded that the investigators could visit her residence in Holenarsipura if needed.
Recently, when the SIT team visited her residence, she evaded them and remained untraceable. The SIT officials waited for seven hours before returning empty-handed.
