Absconding notorious criminal nabbed
Wanted in shootout case and many other cases

Mangaluru: The city south Rowdy squad has successfully nabbed Deekshit Poojary (31) who has been on the run since two years and is wanted for opening fire on the car of Vijayendra Bhat, a businessman in the city. The accused is also wanted in 7 other cases.
Incident synopsis
In accordance to the direction of underworld don Vikki Shetty, Poojary is accused of having opened fire on Sudhindra Supermarket and Saibeen Complex owner Vijayendra Bhat’s car along the Ballabagh-Mannagudda road.
Besides, the accused has a total of 7 cases booked against him in Mangaluru city and Udupi.
He is wanted in a three cases at Barke station including murder and shootout, a murder case in Pandeshwar station, assault case in Bunder station, ganja and assault case in Kadri station, assault cases in Urwa and Surathkal station and a case under Arms Act in Udupi police station.
