ACB arrests Social Welfare Officer while receiving bribe in Chikkaballapur

Chikkaballapur: A social welfare officer has been arrested by Karnataka state Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday when he was receiving bribe worth Rs 75, 000 to pass an order for the supply vegetables to a government hostel. According to the sources, the accused Subramanya, a social welfare officer was caught by the ACB officials while receiving bribe from the person, Sunil, a resident of Chikkaballapur district. Further details are awaited on the arrest.
