ACB conduct raids at ACF Patil’s residence, office

Bengaluru: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths conducted raids on Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Chandragouda S Patil early today.
It has been learnt that the ACB were keeping a close eye on ACF Patil from some time as there were allegations made against him for amassing disproportionate wealth.
SP Amarnath Reddy conducted raids at three different locations at Patil’s residence in Belagavi, relatives houses in Bailhongal and office in Khanapur.
On Friday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had recovered Rs 5.25 crore in cash, around 4.5 kg gold and 10 kg of silver from two government officials.
