ACB finds Rs 2 Cr worth 7, 000 Sarees, Rs 7 lakh cash at Govt Official’s residence in Hubballi

Bengaluru: Karnataka State Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has found 7 thousand sarees at the residence of commercial tax department associate commissioner Kariyappa Ningappa Karnala in Vigneshwara Nagar in Hubballi during a raid. Also, currency notes in the denomination of Rs 2, 000 worth Rs 4 lakh have been found at his residence. Meanwhile, the value of the sarees found is estimated at Rs 2 crore. The ACB officials have seized Rs 7 lakh from the residence of the commissioner out which Rs 4 lak was kept in the middle of saree bundles found.
