ACB raid on Moodbidri taluk office

Moodbidri: Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a raid on Moodbidri taluk office on Monday and carried inspection.

8 persons including officials and staffs were questioned and on the surface, around Rs 68,000 was found bearing no relevant documentation.

The raid was conducted based on a complaint from a citizen and the offices of the survey division and deputy tahsildar were also inspected.

SP Sudhir Hegde spoke with the media and informed that small amount of additional money had been found in the office and we are conducting an investigation regarding this. If in case it turns out that indeed there are no documents detailing the fund excessive amount, legal action will be taken, he said
